Central ventilation works are carried out in stages, to ensure the highest levels of quality and efficiency.
First, the plan is studied well to determine the appropriate exits.
Ventilation inlets and outlets are distributed in buildings in different ways, as they can be sideways, on the setback surface, on the direct surface, or even on the final surface. The locations of these outlets vary from one project to another according to the design needs.
Central ventilation works in buildings begin from the concrete pouring stage for the ceilings or for the swimming pool equipment room, if any. It is necessary to plant the ventilation outlets before pouring the concrete to avoid any subsequent breaking or modification operations in the building. It also requires prior coordination with the rest of the service contractors such as air conditioning, plumbing, electricity, and decoration, to ensure that the work does not conflict and to provide the best quality in implementation.
Pipe lengthening
Note: In the case of roof or setback outlets, especially those that run from the top of the basement ceiling or ground floor, these outlets require pipe extension. This step is done before construction or pouring the upper ceiling so that the pipes are hidden inside the building walls, in order to preserve the aesthetics of the design and avoid any subsequent breakage or modification.
Stage of displaying the outputs and installing the connections
In a later stage, after completing the stage of planting the outlets and silicons before pouring, these outlets are exposed and galvanic connections are installed. Coordination is made with the electrical contractor to determine the locations of the operating points necessary to operate the fans, in preparation for the next stages of the implementation process. This coordination ensures the integration of all systems in the project and leads to facilitating the next stages smoothly and without problems.
Central ventilation extensions
After the exits stage is completed, and the owner has completed the interior surveying work, as well as after the air conditioning contractor and company have completed the air conditioning duct extension, the central ventilation extension stage begins. This stage is no less important than the previous stages, as the extensions are implemented in coordination with the air conditioning work, and based on a preliminary study of the plans to ensure the harmony of all systems in the building and achieve optimal performance.
Grills and fans installation stage
After completing the extension phase, the installation phase of fans and internal grilles begins, after completing the decoration work. The locations of the maintenance doors are determined if the fans are installed inside the building. However, if the fans are installed on the roof, there is no need for maintenance doors, but it is necessary to install an external canopy to protect them from rain or dust, in order to prevent the entry of any foreign object that may damage the fan and ensure its continued efficient operation.
Installation of central ventilation fans and extractors
There are many types of fans and extractors for central ventilation, and they come in different sizes and different suction power. Some of these turbine machines are characterized by high-quality and efficient international specifications, and are designed to completely eliminate swimming pool odors and high humidity. The appropriate fan is selected based on several factors, including the size of the place to be ventilated, the length of the extension path, the number of elbows used, and the distance of the air outlet point.
These factors are influential in choosing the appropriate fan size, but it also requires the help of a specialist to calculate the amount of static pressure and the amount of loss resulting from the length of the path and the number of elbows, so that this does not affect the suction power.
Exhaust fans are installed hidden above the decor or in attics, or they can be installed on the roof or setback, and the location of the fan installation varies according to the nature of the site and the design of the building, to ensure optimal performance of the system
Kitchen chimney installation
In addition to the exhaust fans that are installed in kitchens, bathrooms, diwaniyas, laundry rooms, swimming pools, and any place that requires central ventilation, chimneys are also installed above the stove in main kitchens and apartment kitchens. We have a variety of modern chimneys to suit all tastes, including wall chimneys with a square box design, pyramid chimneys, island chimneys, and flat chimneys.
A stainless steel outer cover is also installed above the chimney, to match the aesthetic appearance of the kitchen. These chimneys come equipped with an American oil filter that is easy to clean, and can also be equipped with lighting according to the customer’s desire, which adds an aesthetic and functional touch to the kitchen.
Installation of external shutters
Shutters are installed on exits to prevent birds and insects from entering. Shutters are available in various types and shapes, including fixed and movable shutters made of aluminum, which can be painted in the same color as the building to match the exterior appearance. There are also many other types of shutters available to meet different needs, ensuring the required protection while maintaining the aesthetic appearance of the facade.
